My Learning Object

For my learning object, I chose to create a Podcast. Podcasts are an interactive way to present information to students. Podcasts are relatively easy to create with the right tools! With Podcasts, a person can record their voice, or for teachers, their lesson, and make it available for people/students to hear at a later time. This is an excellent tool for school purposes since students can listen to a lesson and make notes. Additionally, students can stop the Podcast whenever they want if they need extra time to write something down. Podcasts would also be useful if a student was absent from school since they would have access to the lesson posted from their own home! Finally, as mentioned in all parts of this Edublog, it provides students with another way to use their technological skills in an interactive way. Technology is able to showcase the lesson in a new way! Try it out -- listen to the Podcast available and take some notes on the information provided.
